BIOHailing from Minnesota, award-winning trumpeter, composer, and educator Aidan Buck seeks to create music that fosters healing and community in his newfound home of Chicago. He is emerging as a steadfast musical voice in the Upper Midwest. During his time studying music at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, he released two albums of original music with his quintet, Summit Blue, which garnered a devoted local following. Aidan has performed at notable Midwest venues such as the Jazz Showcase, Berlin, The Whistler, Jazz Central Studios, and Crooners.
As a bandleader and composer, Aidan strives to evoke feelings of serenity and compassion, focusing on a sense of communal togetherness. In collaboration with his band, he cultivates an atmosphere capable of deeply connecting with each and every soul in the room.
Along with music, Aidan is deeply passionate about documenting the intersection between industry and the natural world through landscape photography as well as photographing local artists, friends, and family.
